What You Can Expect From Me As Your Personal Coach
I coach by phone and hope that you will enjoy its flexibility, convenience, privacy and relaxed environment conducive for insightful conversation.
Between coaching conversations I am available by phone and email for anything you may need to support you.
I ask that you complete the online Comprehensive Well-Being Assessment prior to our first conversation so that you and I are well informed on your key issues, including medical considerations. It helps us to realize what is important to you now that you want to focus on and how ready and confident you are to get started on this journey.
During our first coaching conversation we discuss mutual expectations in our coaching relationship, procedures and guidelines for working together as a team. We confirm priorities for why you came to coaching and enjoy insights you may have had while completing the Well-Being Assessment.
Following our second coaching conversation you will have developed a "Personal Health & Wellness Plan". Think of this "Plan" as a road map that gives you the directions you know you need to get you to your vision. You will have created your vision as it is what drives your "Plan". Your vision is a compelling statement of who you are and what health promoting, life giving practices you want to be doing consistently for good. In addition, you will have established three month goals that you looking forward to having as a regular part of your life and the very manageable weekly goals that get you to your vision.
In subsequent weekly coaching conversations we celebrate what went well outside of your goals. We look at best experiences you had with your goals, adjust as needed and set next week's goals staying focused on your vision and three month goals for direction. By the end of our time together, you will be well on your way to your vision with the knowledge and confidence to continue on your own as you will be prepared with your own unique coaching skills you have developed throughout our coaching relationship. Ultimately you arrive at your destination...your vision...Your Best Self!
