Margie KimmelTwenty five years as a cardiac nurse working with people in treatment for chronic diseases followed by 11 years of prevention by doing health and wellness coaching has given me the experience it takes to guide you to the best you want to be.
I walk the talk as I started running regularly at 19 years until my body convinced me at 35 years that I should continue exercise by cycling. I notice not only physical but mental benefits from regular exercise. I just love the creative state my mind generates from an early morning outdoor cycle. Issues, some that I may not have even identified prior to my exercise, are thought out and resolved during this time. |
I personally notice the daily benefits of positive thinking and celebrate often with my clients when they share their best experiences. I feel their energy and confidence build as they share their wonderful success stories.
I enjoy when clients arrive at knowing what they deeply want and why it really matters. I see their motivation increasing especially when they realize they have the strengths to get what it is they want as they have experienced success with those strengths in the past.
I smile a lot when clients try but don’t quite get the first time whatever goal they are hoping to accomplish and choose the self-compassion attitude. “Ok, none of us are perfect, I can learn from my goof and get closer next time as trying this new behavior is a bit like an experiment and I can't know for sure what will work until I try.”
I am always pleasantly surprised when my clients share their strong take away “the jewel” at the end of each coaching conversation as we all experience life in our own unique way.
